Rainbow Hair

Does anyone know who is the creator of Rainbow Hair, the poem? I have seen it plastered across the web, but don't know who the original creator was. I really like the poem and created a pocket chart version of the poem.

You can click the picture above for your free copy! I think it came out quite well.

Check out Deanna Jump's emergent reader that goes with the poem and it's free! You can click here to download Deanna Jump's emergent reader.

Enjoy!!!

School Supplies

Here is my school supply list that I am hoping to use this year. Last year I ran out of kleenex and glue sticks so I'm asking for more this year. What are some things on your school supply list?

I used KPM Doodles to make the supply list beautiful.

School Supply Labels

Functional, but cutesy school supply labels.  Click the picture above for your own copy. I created these labels with KPM Doodles on Etsy. There are more labels than shown in the picture.

I took a close up picture so you could check out my glittery paper. Wayyyy cool!!

Enjoy!!

For all of those wonderful Pinterest bulletin boards and door displays...

Keep your favorite bulletin board and door display ideas in a restyled photo book for $1.

$1 photo book from Walmart

Peel off the sticky sticker. It didn't leave any residue either-yahoo!!

Take out that glittery front and replace with...

this beauty. Mine is a shiny blue, with a cute blue bird from KPM Doodles on Etsy. Blue bird matches my decor for my class room.

I also made dividers for the inside. One for bulletin boards and one for door displays.

Then, print off those pictures from Pinterest or insert your own photos. Great way to keep track off the door displays and bulletin boards over the years too!!

Click here for your copy of the labels!

Enjoy!!!

I saw this A-mazing idea on Mrs. Bremer's Kindergarten blog. Check out her photo above. Click the picture to learn more about how she uses it! I am looking forward to using this in my classroom. I went a head and created mine right away. I'm so excited. Check out my version below.
I added another line for their favorite color because they love their colors!! If you would like to grab the pocket chart printables all you have to do is click the picture above. My fonts are from Lettering Delights from Teacher Created Resources!

Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Freebies--pinterest inspired!!

I have to admit that birthdays were very simple in my classroom last year and I'd like to make this next year a  little more exciting on their birthdays. So I've been seeing this idea on Pinterest a lot lately and I really like it. One post I saw stated that it was an idea from ProTeacher. Here is my version of the pixie stick birthday balloons!! I'm still waiting to add the large pixie sticks. They have been shipped though!! I ordered mine from Amazon. Click the picture below to order your own!!

Here is my version of the pixie stick toppers...I'll even personalize your for you!!! Right now the template doesn't have a teachers name on it. It simply says "Happy Birthday!" I will personalize the balloons for you if you'd like. Just comment with a place to send and make sure you are a follower!! Click the picture below for your own copy.  I cut mine out and glued them to white construction paper for extra durability.
(The balloon template is from KPM Doodles and the font is Lettering Delights by Teacher Created Resources.)

I also made up another little birthday book from the class. Click the picture below for you free copy, as always. Just remember to comment and become a follower! If you'd like your name on it. I can do that for you--all you need to do is leave your name and email address.
