My students absolutley love digging in the grass to find hidden items. They pull out an item and record it on their paper. Click here for your copy. Students draw a picture of what they found, then stretch out the word to write. I had originally used this mass about of Easter grass during my bug unit when I put tweezers and plastic bugs out for students to explore with!
