Easter Grass Fun

My students absolutley love digging in the grass to find hidden items. They pull out an item and record it on their paper. Click here for your copy. Students draw a picture of what they found, then stretch out the word to write.  I had originally used this mass about of Easter grass during my bug unit when I put tweezers and plastic bugs out for students to explore with!

Okay, check out Coop (Get it, chicken coop?). He's a-dorable. Remember, the post about cuddly duddley...well this little buddy is going home with the kiddos to spend one fun night filled with "ch" words, and jellybean addition! The kids are too excited.

A pinterest inspired craft. Torn scrapbook paper egg. Very simple and very easy. Kids loved choosing their different paper.

Hoppity, Hop! Floppy Ear Bunnies and Paper Eggs. My cooperating teacher used to make these bunnies with her kids and they were too great not to do!

Beautiful tulips from a young student.

I just HAD to buy this floppy eared bunny that dances to the song! Best part....his ears dance along. :)
