Valentine's Day Work Station

New work stations for Valentine's week. : ] My little girlies have been a little upset about the upcoming football orientated week. I like to get them excited and share my plans with them! They were a little upset, until I told them we could make football players wear pink! Anyways, these next work stations should make their hearts happy.

What Comes Next?
The first station is a math station. You will need to make hearts with different numbers on them. I will make a few sets; some lower numbers  and some higher numbers depending on student level. Students must write the number and color the heart to match and then count up to write the numbers that come after that number. Here is the recording sheet..

Pretty Patterns

The second station is also a  math station. Again, you will nee d to make hearts, but with patterns on the back. Focus on the patterns covered and new patterns to challenge your students. Students must say the pattern, copy the pattern and then extend the pattern on the recording sheet..
