Cuddly Dudley

Here is our wonderful Cuddley Duddly wrapped in a black and white blanket.

This is the note that is sent home with Cuddley Duddly. Students must find black and white objects around their house, cut our the letter p from papers and have their parents write what they did with Cuddley Duddly! This is considered their January family project. I have the students stand up in front of class and speak about what they did with Dudley. Great listening and speaking activity! This is from Mailbox Magazine-I got the idea from my cooperating teacher in Minot, ND--Karin Haas, she is absolutely amazing!!
Here is the book! Very hard to find--I bought two books, just in case one doesn't come back!
This pull names from this jar to determine who will take Cuddley Duddly home! When we pull names from the jar, students are holding their breath! They get so excited!! The puppet behind the can is a puffin penguin from Alaska. : D
Here is our sweet, baby penguin all wrapped up in his cooler (to keep him cold) and ready to go home!!
The secret snack....shhhhh!!!!
