Sight Word Punch Cards
These are cards are a great way of tracking progress and giving students a sense of ownership of their sight words. They are also very easy to update and maintain! Simply cut out, laminate, and write students name on the punch card that you are working on. (Punch Card #1= Quarter 1, Punch Card #2= Quarter 2, etc.) Whenever a student masters a popcorn word, you hole punch the dot next to that popcorn word. Students can track their progress and work towards their next goal. Mine will be copied on bright, fun colors, laminated and kept in their pencil boxes. (It is their responsibility to take care of them, not mine.) Also, when students complete a card that is when you could reward the students in some way--like my previous post about popcorn/pop rewards!! Click here for your copy!
